Both gas and electricity supplies use ‘smart’ meters that are wirelessly connected to the display in the kitchen.

The meters themselves are both located in the cellar, the gas meter is inside the alcove underneath the front door and the electricity meter is in a cupboard along with the consumer unit (‘fuse box’) immediately to the right of the window.

In case of a power cut check the switches are set as above.
